Greetings, everyone. 

I had the privilege of interviewing Rawahuddin Arif Shah, an imam in East London, recently, and I have published the interview as part of the Blogging Carnival for Nonviolence.  Click here to listen to it. 

In this interview, Mr. Shah explains that Islam condemns violent jihadism and terrorism.  I was keen to interview him as I don't know much about Islam, and the way the mainstream media portrays Muslims, they are all violent terrorists.  This obviously cannot be true, as the vast majority of Muslims, and certainly the vast majority I meet, are just like the rest of us - they just want to get on with it and live their lives in peace and harmony with their neighbours. 

In the context of daily headlines about the outrages committed by Boko Haram and the so-called Islamic State, Mr. Shah reminds of us the true values of Islam.  The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community's beliefs are summed up by their motto, "Love for All, Hatred for None".
