I am thankful for 52 years of surviving this harsh world... I grew up in Marcy Projects in Brooklyn and has done the unbelievable... My life has been one incredible journey... Even with the hurts and pains of life, I have survived it all... When I think about just being here and out living two thirds of my friends I grew up with, makes me very thankful...

Thanks for the words of encouragement... It's going to be interesting come January... Haven't sat in a classroom in twenty years... WHEW!!! I have a great motivator in my twenty one year old daughter who is completing her junior year in college... We made a bet to see who is the better student... You know who is going to win this bet... ME!!! 52 years of learning life's golden lessons prepares me for this challenge...
