Off the top of my head I would say the biggest difference is the German people are ashamed of the horrific atrocities that were committed against the "unworthy". No Swastika is flying over any government buildings in that nation.

White Americans, on the other hand, are PROUD of their heritage and their effort to overthrow the government and maintain the enslavement of people.

Some people have fellow feeling. Some people do not. I am afraid too many Americas lack fellow feeling or empathy. Thus, they continue to be proud of enslaving, raping, brutalizing and exploiting Africans and their descendants, to this day. This nation is lost and is on the Most High's hit list.

    Shalom family.

    • Brother West, I agree with you.  I would go further:  In Germany, it is ILLEGAL to display the swastika or any Nazi memorabilia.  If there were an attempt to outlaw the display of the Confederate flag in the U.S., I am sure there are many who would argue this was a violation of their right to free speech.

The swastika was originally a symbol of freedom, a spiritual symbol used from ancient times in places as diverse as India and Cyprus.  The Nazis took over and corrupted this symbol.

The Confederates and their descendants - whats their excuse?

Only the physical appearance. Design, symbols , from europe Germany to US south thats the only difference. Now the concept is a closely the same. Both flags represent people that had values of white supremacy(HATE). Nazi just killed off  those they felt inferior. Confederates wanted to work to death Black people and live with a system of property ownership, slavery.Should bury both.
