The major ethic and socio-economic groups in the United States of America are generally identified as:
WHITES
AFRICAN AMERICANS
HISPANICS
ASIANS
NATIVE AMERICANS.

What does mean that American is, generally, included in the identifier of only two groups, African American and Native Americans?

Are African Americans and Native Americans more American than other ethnic and socio-economic groups?

No, I think it simply means that white people in power make up the names and the rest of us accept them. This is an example of the global white supremacy system dictating the names of everything, including our Motherland. An American is actually an occupier of another's land. The white Western European, the immigrants from Asia, South and Central America, etc. are all occupiers of land that is not theirs. Yet, today to use the word "American" resounds in our heads without any consideration that the land was stolen from the original inhabitants.

Personally, I do not consider myself American, or Afro-American or African-American. Again, terms coined by others for Blacks in America, while their real identity is hidden. We are the "chosen people of God - Israel" and proof is found in your personal copy of the Bible. So, we are Hebrews or Israelis.

Boy, if you want to screw with the heads of these global white supremacy screw-ups, just bring that issue to the front burner. They get really confuse then because they must recognize that they have kicking the Hell out of God's chosen people! What a  hoot! Shalom.

To answer the question, yes absolutely. And it is almost comical to me (but very sad at the same time). We are confused. We (as a group) don't fully know who we are because we have been and continue to disconnect ourselves from our history. Look at what we take pride in. We often overlook our own contributions to society and take pride in being the first to be recognized by whites in different fields. We basically take pride in how well we are able to assimilate. We live in a world were Black People are afraid to be black because as a group we are so dependent on whites for our survival. There is a mentality that other ethnic groups seem to have more than we do and that is working together, with each other, and for each other, first. We will pass by black owned businesses and shop at white ones. When you are led to believe that your history starts in AMERICA with SLAVERY... what is the result? I think the result is an Americanized population engineered to be consumers of/and cheap(er) labor. But we don't really have a strong community foundation on which to build wealth and power. We ask. We don't take. We borrow. We don't lend. We reap. We don't sow. What other eventuality could this behavior produce?

Where did the term African Americans even come from? And why did we accept it?
