  • The power of "we" resides  in the power of each individual constituent of "we".
As a chain is as strong as each individual link, "we" are as strong as each individual.
Together, powerful  individuals form a powerful unit of "we".
Stop waiting for "we" - the is no "we" separate from I.
Wherever "we" are, there I am.
    There is no one coming.
You are - I am already here.
Before I call upon "we" I must call upon myself.

Peace to all who participate in blacklist dialogue.  I beleive that all people need to remember that the words attributed to god in the bibles or koran are written by men and quite possiblely these are mans interpertations. Also we were given the ability to reason we are the only creatures on this planet that has that ability. It is said that we humans use only 10% of our brain power when i hear of things like wanting to kill the woman because she was a christian makes me think we are using even less. When i hear of situtation like this in my mind it puts a ? mark on all organized religions.  hotep people.

I think we all need to worship and right now we need to worship a deity that not only loves the world, but loves humanity and does more for humanity and intervenes in the violence, abuse, poverty, criminal minds and short and simple does more in the wake of humanity. The sights seen of what has become humanity makes me want to holler.

    • Your vision is very beautiful.  We also need to remember that we have the power to bring about positive change and transformation.

  • It depends on who or what one is worshipping, and how one is doing so.

The problem is that people abdicate responsibility for their actions.  People say "god told me to do X", then they do atrocious things, they commit atrocities.

I am sure you are aware that the government in Sudan were planning to flog and execute a woman a few weeks ago because she married a Christian.  She had been raised as a Christian, but because her father was Muslim, she was legally classed as a Muslim.  She was pregnant and they chained her to the floor of her prison cell.  All because a "god" had told them to do so.

The Bible has passages that emphasise the need to take personal responsibility, but people often forget this and say they need to "leave things to god".  They forget that the Bible says "god helps those who help themselves".
