"Those who do not learn from history are condemned to repeat it". is a catchy slogan learned and repeated and repeated across generations (history).
Why?
So consider, that those you learn from history are doomed to repeat history.
Consider, consider, everything taught and learned.
You might think it is a "catchy slogan", but that does not mean it is not true. Ignorance is not bliss. Knowledge is power.
There are reasons why our history has been buried, distorted and misrepresented. There are reasons why we have been lied to and lied about.
Cicero, the Roman statesman, said: "To be ignorant of what occurred before you were born is to remain always a child. For what is the worth of human life, unless it is woven into the life of our ancestors by the records of history?"
