• The Buy Black Campaign commits to the "Cult" Of Victim
  • The Buy Black Campaign submits to the "Cult" Of Inferiority
  • The Buy Black Campaign does have Excellence As A Universal value

These are not reasons, but, premises (opinions) I am not committed to prove.
This could be an opportunity to be authentic about the inauthenticities that give rise to our business practices.

    How?

    • The Buy Black Campaign does have Excellence As A Universal value

How is this being stated as a THIRD PREMISE for "no longer supporting the Black Campaign??

How much thought is being put into these negative posts? It seems to me that you actually have 2 premises against Buy Black but are not prepared to actually discuss how these are true. It all comes off as being very subjective because you "just don't like" Buy Black. When you make such an argument it actually opens the doors for people to make the same types of arguments about you. Whether true or not. I'm sure you must have had SOME good reason or explanation to support why you would use your internet voice and influence to actually tell others not to support the Buy Black campaign. But by being vague about it it comes of as dishonest and petty. My opinion. Honestly, I lost a bit of respect for you because it seems like most of the other posts if not the vast majority of what I've read seems to have more of a journalistic integrity whether you mean to be a journalist or not; whether that type of credit is deserved or not.

How does Buy Black commit to any cult or victim status. What it commits to, in my opinion, is GROUP ECONOMICS. You do not have to be a victim in order to come together as a group and defend yourselves economically. However, it actually helps to be victimized in order to teach you that you need to DO SOMETHING so that whatever was done to you doesn't continue. And sometimes you need to ADDRESS what has been done to us so that people understand the relation between what others are doing TO them and what they are not doing FOR themselves and, as a group, us for each other. I am not a victim by any means and I would never get power to "the white man" to call him the devil or any such thing. However, because I'm intelligent I understand the balance between fault. It's not all his fault and its not all our fault. We share blame for a system in which the black minority are fighting over a tiny fraction of the capital, thinking that we can do things exactly the same way as whites when whites have never played the game fair and when their government enforces their oppression. And pretending otherwise does not make it go away. Does that make us inferior victims? No. That, I believe, is a choice that we make when we accept that status. But accepting that status is more akin to doing NOTHING ABOUT IT than it is to actually try to provoke change; provoke an Economic Revolution; promote buying black and facilitating black crowd funding. That takes courage. Victims run to authority figures and complain to family and friends while typically talking is all they do. The Buy Black campaign is about putting your money where your mouth is and DOING SOMETHING. That's the opposite of a victim.

Having excellence as a universal value means not accepting inferiority. Dwelling in inferiority is a result of accepting the victim status. Therefore it seems to me, in my humble opinion and my POV, that your premise #3 invalidates premise #2 which invalidates premise #1. And even the phrasing of premise #3 shows how you feel and that its connection with excellence is something you're "admitting to" as if your idea and feelings were already formed but not undone by this "new" information. The Buy Black Campaign has goals and standards aimed at making black businesses better, getting black companies to hire people, etc. We have to start somewhere and in the beginning was the word...

    • I makes not my intention that you agree with my point-of-view. That makes no difference. What matters is that you get my point-of-view. That will require examining your point-of-view. And, even giving up your point-of-view. The great danger could be discovering that your point-of-view is not your but agreements you are emprisoned in.

When you are willing to give up your view you could see the world from my view of it and as an outcome your view of the world could be empowered. ~Kwasi

That's laughably unintelligent. Why would anyone give up their point of view for yours? For me its not about who's point of view it is. It's about facts, information, reasons, cause and effect. I am trying to UNDERSTAND YOU so I can come to my own conclusions based on what I know and what "new information" you are adding to it. Except that you're not adding any new information. Do you see? That's a problem. Perhaps you make so many arguments that you forget that there's no argument here. And no... you should never expect someone to go to A, B, C threads to see why you're saying D in some brand new thread. No. If you are creating a new thread then you need to give enough information for RATIONAL people to understand the issues and problem(s) and your response to them. Otherwise you are inviting confusion and opposition on the basis of impropriety. No one, in this vacuum, should be "Getting" your point-of-view when there are NO FACTS here to support it.

    • Unless one is will to give up one's points-of-view one will not get th e other person's point-of-view.
Understanding count for nothing. And makes no difference.
One does not lose one's point-of-view when one gives it up out view the world from another view. One gains and another view.
This is all there is to get in this conversation.
And there is nothing to explain - explanation and understanding does not have one ride a bicycle.
