  • Time to give up trivializing matters of race and to continue to point fingers at a group of people - Jews, as others have pointed fingers at us - Blacks.
Matters of race - institutional racism, is not limited to race.
Institutional Racism is part of a wider and more pervasive issue of Capital and the preservation of Oligarchy and Power.
Institutional Racism creates and atmosphere and ocean of indifference and hopefulness and delusion for poor whites and other so-called under class.

Note that with all his wealth Daniel Sterling is still a wannabe - one who not accepted in the upper echelons of power. THERE IS NO ONE MORE DANGEROUS AS A WANNABE; eg, CLARENCE THOMAS.

But once again we change the conversation - as we usually to - to wallow in our role as victims ignoring our active participation, the roll of the NAACP and each of us.

Amen brother Kwasi. However, all of us are not wallowing in our role as "victims". Some of us are taking aggressive action to create our very own economic base - an alternative economy - owned, administered and controlled by us. Check out Us Lifting Us and provide a little feed-back?

Just type into your browser usliftingus and click ENTER. On the home page click on the gray box in the upper rh portion of the screen and watch a 15 minute presentation. Powerful. The potential in this concept is off the charts. Question is: Who of us has the gray matter to grasp that power?

      Your move, my brother. Shalom.

    • Not quite.

I invite you to consider...there is no "us" and no "all of us".

There is just you and me - always I.
Like the links on a chain, I am the source of we/us.
Each link on the chain is accountable for itself but not on to itself - by itself it is not a chain.
Like the chain I must be individually accountable first rather living in the myth of a chain or we/us.
This is not unlike the way it is for team of players in a league - there is the individual, the team and the league which is as strong as each individual is.

The team is not made up of every individual there is.
The chain is not made up of every link there is.
Not everyone was a disciple of Jesus.
Not everyone was a member of the UNIA.
No every Indian supported freedom of India.
      Some colonists supported King George.

Yet some people are waiting for the multitude rather building with there twelve disciples when blaming the blaming the masses for being a drag on the freedom train.
Only those who are first willing to be individually accountable dare to make a difference as a link in a collective.

With all this said it is alarming that you have never share that website with "us".
You invite me your website but not the community - "us".
How will you lift "us" up while practicing elitism?
How can there be unity and community without the practice of unity and community?

So true. I stand corrected. I will try to be more careful about the use of words. Nevertheless, I appreciate your response. My hope was that others might, out of curiosity, take a look at an initiative that could hold great promise for our people or should I say your people or my people. Not sure, but I am sure you get my drift. Just take a look and share your thoughts about the concept, please?

And no, there can be no unity and community without the practice of unity and community. Allow me to share with the community. Shalom.

You would think that a Jewish person would be one of the last to be prejudice against anyone but they're not exempt. Just a couple weeks ago a while supremacist, in his 70s, shot & killed 3 people at a Jewish retirement community, one of the victims being a 14 yr old boy. Like many other nationalities they look down upon the black race; possibly this makes them feel superior to 'something' while they attempt to mix in with . Jews, Asians, Latinos, those from the middle east, even Native Americans will disown their family for mixing with blacks. They speak of the injustices & atrocities their cultures have endured in the past & up to the present day, yet mixing with whites, the only race who has oppressed or done them harm because of their race, without question is readily acceptable. They turn a blind eye to the fact that the southern state governments are doing all they can to prevent Latinos from entering this country. Asians forget at one time they had to work for very little pay, as servants, & live underground in dirt. The Native Americans have forgiven the fact that many tribes are now extinct, that its difficult to find a full blood Native, that they once lived this land by their own ways & laws before any government establishment, & before they knew were dying from new diseases brought by boat, being forced from their homes even after promises that they wouldn't be, their food supplies cut, their children starving or being forced into schools to conform them from their ways, being restricted to reservations, their young braves & women killed, their old dying. And the Jewish at times forget that white supremacist groups do not consider them 'white' but that they have a black or African blood line. Ironic considering hundreds of years ago Jews dominated the slave trade; long before the Holocaust. They are still targeted but many of them don't like Africans or Black Americans. (What the hell did we do to them?!?)
During the 2008 primary elections I worked in a nursing home in Kansas City. There was a Jewish man who hated blacks, Africans, Latinos, Asians, ect. If you asked him, yes, he was Jewish & proud of it, quite familiar with anti- semantics pertaining to his own experiences, but more importantly he was 'A White American Man'. In a facility that had several black residents & more black & African employees than white, he used racial slurs often & would often approach a group of employees out of the blue for some kind of debate, usually starting off with, 'Don't you people...?' In addition to many of his opinions he felt expressing to us all, he once said that Obama's white mother was trash for marrying an African & having black children. I once asked him why he felt that way toward other races who hadn't done his people any harm but have also been treated inhumanely for years by people with the same fool notions & concepts that led the Holocaust? He didn't have an answer. I then told him, "If a nazi, klansman, or skin head came up here we're in the same boat so, we'd better stick together, or rather you'd better stick with me to save us both, since you're limited. Because they'd hang us side by side." This shut him up for a little bit anyhow.
Back on subject. Another thing other races don't seem to gather is the majority of race related incidents, concerns, historical moments are 'black vs white'. While they've been believing they have to be a step above us on the food chain they fail to see that much of the freedoms they now enjoy in this country are because Blacks protested, marched, fought throug
should've been someone with a strong Cherokee, Seminole, or Navajo heritage, dark red skin & all. I further wonder if they wonder, or even care, if & when they'll be an Asian, Latino, or somewhere coming up out the boondocks, straight-up Native American 'Slap-A-Ho' running this nation? I willing to bet big money there will be 7, maybe 8, 9, 15 black presidents before one of their kindred gets the opportunity.

Well done, my sister. IMHO the race issue is simply a ploy used by the ruling elite to "divide and conquer". This is the only way for 9% of the world's population to dominate and rule over the 91% of the rest of the world. Therefore, race, ethnicity, religion, politics, social status, educational status, financial status are just a few of the ways "divide and conquer" has been used to maintain their grip on the wealth and power of the planet.

Imagine, if you can, the masses setting their petty differences aside and uniting together against the power elite? Game over. Peace.

Organized and administered by Jews. And you expect performance? Duh.

    • Who is the "you" in 'And you expect performance?'

    • Caricom

My apologies. Perhaps I should have written "many of us expect performance". My bad.
