No one can be liberated unless and until they liberate their minds. Unfortunately, almost 400 years of intense oppression, terrorism, persecution, racism and miseducation, combined with a deeply flawed Black church, 24/7 bombardment of negative imagery have contributed to our people's lose of identity, sense of self-worth and initiative, in too many cases.
I have hope that some are awakening from a "deep slumber" spiritually speaking and are beginning to discover who they really are. This self-discovery liberates the mind and the body follows. My mission in life is to do what I can to awaken as many as I can. Nevertheless, I must accept the fact that "many are called, but few are chosen". Peace and love family.
