That truth is greater than humans seems to be contradictory, in view of the fact that, so far as we know, there are no beings greater, or more intelligent than humans. To whom, or what would a greater aspect of truth be directed, if not to humans?

Of course there is truth---independent of you or me. Maybe you don't recognize it when you see it. There are things that are greater than humans. Truth is one of them.
