The first time that a day was set aside for Afrikan people and organisations to reflect on the advances made towards Afrikan freedom and liberation was in 1958. African Liberation Day is a successor to Africa Freedom Day which was founded by Kwame Nkrumah on April 15, 1958 at a meeting of Independent African States in Accra, Ghana. Africa Freedom Day and African Liberation Day, which was founded on May 25, 1963 at the 1st meeting of the Organisation for African Unity in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, were and are manifestations organised to commemorate and advance the mass struggle for revolutionary Pan-Africanism: the total liberation and unification of Africa under a just social system.

Consciencism Open Study
Nkrumah's philosophical conscience was awakened during his time in US Satan and that event/process ignited his massive contribution to defeating colonialism and advancing Afrika's liberation. In writing Consciencism he set out the key to igniting each of our philosophical consciences and releasing our contributions towards defeating neo-colonialism. He made the key accessible in book form so that we too can learn it and master it. By systematically studying it we are supporting and continuing the process he started.
Our mission is to awaken the philosophical conscience of every Afrikan person in our sphere of influence; to bring as many Afrikan people as possible to the understanding that the materialist philosophy is the key to our liberation; that we must organise ourselves to apply it in the real world towards achieving our total liberation. We must replicate Nkrumah's awakening within ourselves and others. When we achieve this and organise it, we will have thousands, even millions of Nkrumahs and the march to the liberation of Afrika and her scattered people will be unstoppable.
