Greetings, everyone. In case you do not know, Mark Duggan was an unarmed Black man who was shot to death by a police officer in Tottenham, North London in 2011. The widespread rioting which erupted shortly afterwards has widely been attributed to this shooting, and there may be a link.
The inquest verdict, which was announced a few days ago, was that his killing was "lawful".

I wish I could say I was shocked by this news. But no police officer in the UK has been prosecuted for killing a Black person since 1969.
Regards,
Zhana
