AMERICAN JUDGES ARE DERIDING AND OVERTURNING BUSH'S DETENTION PLANS!
WILL THE JAMAICAN JUDICIARY COPY THE U.S. JURISTS AND CONFRONT THE DETENTION PLANS OF BRUCE GOLDING?
While courts in the USA are rejecting and overturning George Bush's detention proposals and other aspects of the Patriot Act which has savaged the American Bill of Rights, the Jamaican Prime Minister Bruce Golding, journalists, police, many citizens, church leaders and pastors, are rushing along the path of preventive detention of innocent citizens.

"If persons are going to be detained for extended periods of time, and at the end of that time there is no charge, as sure as night follows day, there will be a claim of false imprisonment. And if the case [against the accused] collapses, there will surely be a claim of malicious prosecution," .JUDGE SYKES
THE GOLDING DETENTION PLAN?
This includes an amendment to the Bail Act, which will see the period for which the police can legitimately detain an individual without charge moving up from 48 hours to 60 days in relation to cases of rape, murder, firearm offences, arson, affray and treason.
Why would a righteous man, the Prime Minister of Jamaica, copy a major strategy used by the maniac, Adolf Hitler? The strategy may have sounded good back then too to unsuspecting Germans but few persons really knew what the real plans of Hitler were and few persons today know what the real plans of the PM are. It is very possible that the Prime Minister himself does not even know what is driving him, but I do not think so. You see power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely more but the lust for power corrupts the soul greatest , and when one has tasted that power especially after being deprived of it, for what seems like ages, it is the hardest thing for one to relinquish.
HAVE WE SEEN GLIMPSES OF THIS DICTATORIAL LUST FOR POWER FROM PRIME MINISTER BRUCE GOLDING?
1. Said Golding recently, "I will not allow any one to sit in the parliament that was not elected by the will of the people." This sounds good until you read the facts behind the case.
2. Remember the trade agreement with Europe..signing a document of which the country is still ignorant. The PM is forging ahead without the approval of the citizenry.
3. Wilfully stubbing his finger through the eye of the Jamaican Constitution by putting up for election, candidates who were specifically inadmissible, and then claiming innocence of the law when innocence of the law is not a defence in any jurisdiction, this same man, Bruce Golding now wants to detain innocent civilians!! George Bush calls such detainees enemy combatants; Jamaica will just call them suspects.
4.The recent Spanish Town raid is a direct replica of Hitler's Gestapo tactics right out of Goebels manifesto; such brutal kicking, beating, maiming and detaining of ....

It is not surprising that those who study and administer judicial oppinions and ruling put the brakes on the government when they step over the line!
The subject of "Preventive" detention has been an ongoin proposal of all governments throughout the ages. In my view, "Profiling" is a precursor
of the next step: A "Prevenitive Detention" Policy. I believe there was a moive based on the "thought police" principle of pre-criminal detention,
based on predetermined scenarios. Don't forget HB 1955, Patriot Act
and all other oppressive legislation passed by congress over the last
eight (8) years. Will Obama repel any or all of it? As the saying goes,
"power corrupts absolutely!" (paraphrased) The governor of Illinois has
already proposed sending National Guard units onto the streets of Chicago --well not exactly -- more precisely, the streets of Southside Chicago)!
(Your tax dollars at work! Or as the Poets said; "Paying the Machine to
die!")
Thank God for those who are courageous enough to stand a bulwarks against outright governmental tyranny. We must be every ready to defend... You know the rest!
