NEWBURGH - "The Newburgh Sting," a documentary film, will be shown at 1 p.m. Nov. 22 in the Newburgh Free Library auditorium, 124 Grand St.

Through the use of FBI surveillance video and interviews with key players, co-producers Kate Davis and David Heilbroner tell the story of how four men from Newburgh were lured into a plot to blow up a Bronx synagogue and destroy military aircraft at Stewart Airport.

This film raises questions about the use of "manufactured terrorism" and its ramifications in the heightened state of security that has been in place since Sept. 11, 2001.

During discussion, the floor will be open for questions and comments from the audience.

This event is sponsored by Exodus: Newburgh Extension (formerly The New Jim Crow), Ecclesia Ministries of Newburgh, Mayor Judy Kennedy, Living in Jesus Ministry, Repairer of the Breach Ministries International, Exodus Transitional Community and the Newburgh Free Library.

Admission is free, but a $5 donation is welcomed. For more information, call 569-8965.
