The Culture Weekend (CW) is scheduled to run from November 12th to 14th, bringing in students, professionals and activists from all over North America for a weekend revolving around Caribbean culture. The theme of CW this year is the evolution of Caribbean culture, from our African Roots to the West Indies and North America.
The cost of the trip is $190 for "all access" which includes transportation (to and from Montreal), to and from all the events, hotel accommodation (for 2 nights at the Holiday Inn, Montreal) and the events (two socials, a conference, and culture show). The payment arrangements work where a $90 dollar down payment is made per student, and the remaining balance ($100) when everyone reaches the bus.
CARSSU is looking at taking a group of 20 students to this conference and these students are chosen on a first come first served basis. If you are interested please contact us soon.
