For the past twenty-four years, the AfroSolo Theatre Company has been an ardent member of San Francisco’s vibrant arts ecology. We have passionately pursued our mission to nurture, promote, and present Black art and culture through solo performances, music, forums, workshops, panels, and the visual and literary arts. We have featured artists from around the world. AfroSolo has received many awards, certificates, trophies, and acknowledgments.

To help celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of the AfroSolo Theatre Company and continue our pursuit of artistic excellence, we are launching a fundraiser to celebrate our Silver Anniversary. Our goal is to raise $25,000 -- that is, $1000 to commemorate each year of our history. 


The funds will be used to provide performances for under-privileged middle and high school students.


The great news is that we're already $10,000 into our goal, with only $15,000 needed to take us over the top! Any amount you can donate now will be used to explore the bonds that unite all people.

AfroSolo operates under the fiscal sponsorship of "Intersection for the Arts," a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This means that your donation may be tax-deductible to the extent provided by IRS rules. We welcome your participation to make it happen!
