We are so excited to invite you to our Saturday School Fundraiser! This Fundraiser is dedicated to raising money to support this free summer program and to ensure that even more of Brooklyn's children will be able to experience this life changing event.
The Fundraiser will feature actor Nate Parker, from the film The Great Debaters, as our key note speaker, youth performances and a presentation dedicated to informing the community about our Saturday School Program and the importance of supporting independent educational institutions.
Tomorrow's Answer Saturday School is an African centered literacy based program that has operated successfully in Brooklyn, NY for three summers, serving youth from ages five to sixteen by providing educational services, healthy nutritious meals, and informative field trips to the children of Bedford Stuyvesant, Bushwick and Crown Heights - all at no cost to parents. The program is facilitated by teachers, professionals and community members. It is an eight week program that engages students in academic instruction, reading, writing, creative arts and provides them with a foundational skill set which builds esteem while increasing academic performance. The program is also offered at our Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, PA sites. Your financial support will enable us to expand the breadth of our services to ensure that even more children will be able to benefit from this free, dynamic, summer program.
