Explanatory Statement of Position of
Papuan Freedom Political Prisoners In
the Indonesian State Colonial Prison in response to SBY's planned giving of
clemency.

With this commitment as political prisoners
incarcerated in the Indonesian Republic's State Colonial Prison, we state to the
world that we are in prison for the sake of the struggle for liberation of
Papua. With this statement it is our heartfelt hope that the International
Community will take real steps to bring an end to the status of the Papuan
political and legal dispute so that there may not be yet more civilians lives
lost. With this position we as political prisoners inform the world of the 
situation of the nation (people) of Papua. .
