Nguzo Saba: for 2011
Indomitable Spirit
Greetings,
The Nguzo Saba, the Seven Principles of Kwanzaa, the non-religious cultural observations of principles for unity in the family, workplace and community embodies the essence of what should make the sons and daughters of A.Free.CAH (Alkebulan Free Continent Aboriginal Homeland successful. These principles are Umoja (unity); Kujichagulia (self-determination); Ujima (collective work and responsibility); Ujamaa (cooperative economics); Nia (purpose); Kuumba (creativity); and Imani (faith). As we end yet another year one and all will assess, raise and answer questions of cultural and moral grounding and consider their worthiness in family, work, community, and culture; allow me to please share a few thoughts.
In martial arts Indomitable Spirit is generally considered to be a refusal to be beaten. So no matter how tough, talented or big the opponent or challenges, SoulJahz of the Most High possess Jah Indomitable Spirit and Empress Menen love which allow InI to think outside the box and daily make a way with Creativity even when none is visible.
So as we end yet another year and get ready to start 2011 as the One Voice of Delta, one and all will again assess, raise and answer questions of cultural and moral grounding and consider their worthiness in family, work, community, and culture; The Nguzo Saba, the Seven Principles of Kwanzaa (December 26-January 1), the non-religious cultural observations of principles for unity in the family, workplace and community embodies the essence of what should make the Empress of Zion Collective of Lioness Daughters of Zion and Lionz of Zion triumphant!
DO LIP as the Voice of Jah
Nguzo Saba principles of cultural and moral grounding in family, work, and community: Umoja (Unity): The Divinity of Jah inspires HIS Children to work together as One A.Free.CAN Family in Unity to make a positive difference in home, community and the world

Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics): A.Free.Can must pool resources and take the Innitiave to be fiscally efficient in Cooperative Economics trading, bartering and supporting each other for sustainable development.
Nia (Purpose): Jah People continue to commit to the Purpose of the Ras Tafari Creed doing the best possible with the available information and resources available to us to make a positive Difference in the eradication of poverty.
Indomitable Spirit
Kuumba (Creativity): We will all have to tap into our Creativity and create a way even out of no way in the upcoming year.
Imani (Faith): Imani is Ki-swahili for “Faith” and there certainly is no better principle to face the upcoming year of 2011—but together we can do it!
So though the year 2010 is now going by as a gust of wind and has carried with it a ride which at times was so rocky it threatened InI individual and collective dreams, sincerest hopes and aspirations.
STILL I&I will RISE!!!
Throughout this journey it was comforting to be assured of your friendship and support. I was certain of your ready availability to lighten the load and to light the way towards the realization of my own dreams for 2010. Because of you it has turned out to be a blessed journey, one in which I came closer to reaching my goals of connecting A.Free.CAH & A.Free.CAN despite the obstacles.
STILL I&I will RISE!!!
I would therefore like to take this opportunity to express my deep gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to you and for your collaboration and partnership over the past year. I continue to receive blessings from my family, loved ones and true friends and SoulJahz on whose support I hope to rely in 2011.
STILL I&I will CONTINUE 2 RISE!!!
Year 2011 promises to be yet another eventful and economically challenging year as the economy has not recovered for A.Free.CAN! Yet I am confident we will survive…If there is anything I can do to help, you know you can continue to count on my collaboration, cooperation and support in this New Year and I pray that you too will be there for me. Together we can do more, achieve more and reach for even greater heights. Happy 2011—may it be Great; Healthy and Wealthy mentally, spiritually and physically for you and your family and may all your dreams and aspirations come true!
SO LET US (United SoulJahz) CONTINUE 2 RISE!!
BLESSINGS – LOVE and LIGHT ALWAYS!!

What is you challenge(s) for the Afrikan community for 2011?
For Asinia Lukata Chikuyu they are:
1. That we collectively pray for the end of white supremacy and black inferiority.
{but as we pray, we must remember that prayer without work is wasted emotion.}
2. That we begin to collectively Raise Black Consciousness, understanding that Black Consciousness is
a. the reward of Black Exploration - through reading and writing about Afrikan-story (Ourstory) and your life experiences, the good, the bad and the ugly. And through converging with elders and learnt Afrikans who have the experiences we long for and are willing to share their Afrikan experiences to be our roadmap to freedom and the pursuit of Afrikan happiness.
b. the source of Black Pride, that motivates us to rise above the limitations imposed on us by the false doctrine of white supremacy, the self imposed doctrine of black inferiority and self-hatred. Black Consciousness is the feeling you get knowing that you are the descendent of human creators of civilization and morality. It is the joy you get from knowing that you are truly made by God, in His Image, with all His virtues your vessel can carry.
c. the inheritance we pass on to the next generation... through conversation, through lessons taught, through books written, videos produced, meeting convened, discipline administered, guidance tendered, admonishments extended and earned commendation made.
AT ALL COST!!!
3. That we collectively begin to build an economic power base that will sustain individuals and families who are doing the work of building a New Afrikan Nation, or at least working to improve the quality of life in our communities. As we continue to struggle in america, we must ease some of the frustrations of those working earnestly for us by compensating them for their work, thereby making them accountable to us for those efforts. This would be one of the answers to Dr. Martin Luther King. Jr.’s challenge to us to turn our strengths to compiling power and Malcolm X’s admonishment to us to practice Black Economics, where we should gain economic control over the economy of our own community so that we can provide jobs for our own people.
