A Rally will be held in front of the UN headquarters in New York (in Ralph Bunche Park) from 3 pm to 6 pm on Friday, May 30 to demand:
- MINUSTAH Out Now!
- Martelly Out Now!
The Rally, initiated by Haitian organizations in the New York area, is held in the framework of the June 1st Continental Day of Action "MINUSTAH Out Now! Ten Years Is Enough! -- a day of action called by the Haitian Coordinating Committee Against MINUSTAH, based in Port-au-Prince, with the support of the Caribbean Workers and Peoples Alliance (ATPC) and the Brazilian Committee to Defend Haiti Is to Defend Ourselves.
The Haitian organizations that initiated the call for the May 30 Rally in New York are Haiti-Liberté, International Support Haiti Network, and Kakola, among others. A broad list of labor and community endorsers of this action is in formation.
