The Kalifa Leadership program is aimed at training women and young girls from African immigrant community with much needed life and leadership skills that empower them and their communities.

As some of the Kalifa Leadership objectives, AHC provides leadership in the development of community owned initiatives; facilitates focus groups to determine community needs and objectives; leads the creation of action plans to meet objectives; provides guidance and support in the implementation of action plans; assists in program evaluation.

We are proud to graduate these nine women to become AHC Community ambassadors. The AHC ambassador will be equipped with communication, cooperate organizing and team building skills as well as continual mentorship from board and staff. These women and young girls have shown much dedication and determination and we applaud them for their efforts.

Please join our Board and Staff in welcoming these community organizers into this important work of socioeconomic and reproductive justice.

Refreshments will be served.
