Give Peace A Chance Coalition (GPAC) fundraiser

Join us this Saturday, February 12, 2011 from 3-5pm for an "urgent" fundraising reception to support the work of the Give Peace A Chance Coalition (GPAC). The reception will take place in the Community Room of our facility located at 1426 9th St. NW, Washington, DC 20001. This is at the corner of 9th & P Sts NW inside the Emmaus Services for the Aging Building. Come and hear GPAC Board of Advisor member Lawrence Freeman, Editor of the Africa Desk of the E.I.R. Magazine, discuss his observations from his just concluded trip to Sudan. GPAC is a registered non-profit entitiy in the District of Columbia and is dedicated to helping increase the ties between African-Americans, U.S. Muslims and Africa.
