It's been another busy and exciting month for the Campaign, with the hope of West Papua's inclusion into the Melanesian Spearhead Group with full membership on the horizon, as well as the build-up to an important meeting of the International Parliamentarians for West Papua in May. Sadly, there has been a huge surge in the number of West Papuans illegally arrested, as the Indonesian authorities continue to use police brutality to crack down on peaceful demonstrations and displays of support for independence.
