FREE THE SCOTT SISTER Campaign

According to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. "Our nettlesome task is to discover how to organize our strength into compelling power." Beginning the irritating process of organizing our strengths is seeing, understanding and feeling what is happening in society. It is realizing that Functional and Operational Unity of like-minded human beings and feeling the pain of the oppressed are keys to creating change. It is when these socially conscious people are united in purpose that changes occur in the world as we know it. Whether it is toppling monarchies and fascist despots, dismantling oppressive systems of governance or correcting criminal injustices, the advancement of man and society is dependent on the actions of these socially conscious good men and women.

Because of a great criminal injustice, those with a social consciousness are being called upon to rise and guide man and this society onto a higher and safer ground. On Saturday, September 15, 2010, socially conscious people are being asked to take deliberate action to achieve the noble goal to FREE THE SCOTT SISTERS. Because Jamie and Gladys Scott have already served 15 years of a double-life sentence for a false conviction of armed robbery, it is time to correct this flustering miscarriage, and misrepresentation, of justice. Anyone connected to the U.S. Juridical System should be embarrassed by this mockery of justice. Everyone in the Mississippi Juridical System should thoroughly ashamed of the face this case put on Mississippi justice. Every "Proud American" should want to see real justice in this correctible error of the justice system.

The call is being sent out to everyone who feels the pain of the oppressed to come to Jackson, Mississippi on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 for the FREE THE SCOTT SISTERS MARCH & RALLY. This major demonstration of our compelling power is designed to show the world that enough is enough. Starting at the corner of Farish & Hamilton Streets, thousand are expected to march to the Mississippi State Capital to express their distain with the "1950’s & 60’s good ole boy" system of justice that prevailed in Mississippi and is still rearing its ugly head. The socially conscious warriors for justice that will converge on Jackson next month will make a statement to Mississippi to move out of the oppressive mental inclinations of the past into the progressive thinking of a higher more civilized society.

Most of those socially conscious warriors have already visited the FREE THE SCOTT SISTERS website (http://www.freethes cottsisters. blogspot. com/) and submitted their letters of support for the FREE THE SCOTT SISTER Campaign. But if you have not, please understand that this campaign is determined to FREE (Gladys & Jamie) THE SCOTT SISTERS regardless of time and energy needed. No concept of real justice can justify them dying in jail.

So please, join to express your disdain for oppressive. Mae plans to be in Jackson on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 for the FREE THE SCOTT SISTERS MARCH & RALLY. Please, express us passion for justice and compassion for these oppressed sisters by joining the FREE THE SCOTT SISTERS MARCH & RALLY Letter Writing Campaign found on the FREE THE SCOTT SISTERS website (http://www.freethes cottsisters. blogspot. com/). And contact the local FREE THE SCOTT SISTERS MARCH & RALLY Committee for details about joining the march and rally (601.353.4455 or findjone@hotmail. com).
