Fired for being full time? Support workers at Juicy Couture!

Juicy Couture is choosing short-term profits over dedicated workers and quality jobs.  My name is Darrell, and I used to work at Juicy Couture’s flagship store on 5th Avenue.  My co-worker Duane and I started a petition for Just Hours at Juicy Couture, because the company is eliminating good full-time jobs to avoid giving retail workers paid sick days and health care.
Petition Image _Darrell DuaneWhen Duane and I started at Juicy Couture a few years ago, many of us were full-time. Now, only 19 of the store’s 128 employees are full-time! Not only are they firing full-time workers and replacing us with a part-time workforce, just this month Juicy capped all part-time workers hours at 21 hours per week. We quickly realized that Juicy Couture is doing everything they can to not take care of their workers.
By keeping hours under 30 per week, Juicy is avoiding their legal requirement to offer us health care under the Affordable Health Care Act. And part-time workers - now a majority of Juicy workers - will never receive paid sick days because the company limits their hours so they’re not eligible.
Darrell and I are just two of the full-time employees that have been forced out of Juicy Couture, so we need your help to stand up for our coworkers who are still at Juicy, because we all deserve Just Hours.
Join us by signing our petition. Tell Juicy to take care of their workers!

Thank you for standing up for Just Hours,
Darrell McCall Retail Action Project
