Attention all Black Business owners and Entrepreneurs.
The present climate of economic uncertainty looming over the US is a reality. A reality that communities of every race and ethnic group, outside of our own, have thoroughly acknowledged.
Political officials, organizations and local businesses in these various communities are moving relentlessly positioning themselves, this for their continued growth and development and as of late their very survival.
The Black community
As these times of economic uncertainty continue to exist, there are those in this country that will be disproportionately affected by all of the residual elements that occur in such times, such as layoffs, foreclosures, lack of ability to obtain adequate capital for investment purposes and business failures. There is no need for guessing games to determine who those people will be.
"That's right family, it will be you and me.".

In order for us to "survive" individually and as a community of people, this where ever we may be, we must begin to think about how and where we spend our hard earned $ dollars.
You see, rain drops quickly becomes a mighty ocean when they abide by this basic principle of nature, "Coming Together"
When we spend money with "OURSELVES" as much as feasibly possible our community benefits. We all benefit. This basic example is standard practice in every other community in this country. They know and understand that "you have to do business, employ and patronize your own to survive".

The Selective Purchasing Campaign
The Selective Purchasing Campaign was established to assist our people in the process of financial and economic re-generation by providing inspiration and information regarding businesses owned and ran by people who look like us.
Where to find them, how to contact them…
Furthermore to engage our youth, in a very tangible and direct way, in teaching them and showing them how and what we should be collectively doing to assist in the process of self determination. This is essential.
