  • Thanks very much for posting this.  Click here for more about the history of colonisation specifically ....  It is so important that we know and understand this history.  We need to remember all of those who went before us. 

    The main reason why Kwame Nkrumah became a Pan-Africanist is that he studied in the States.  That is where he started to understand that we are all Africans.  So it is entirely appropriate that young people in the U.S. relate and respond to great historical Pan-Africanist figures such as Lumumba and Nkrumah.
