"Over 20 prisons in 11 states are protesting the slavery conditions of America’s criminal justice system. We know that the 13th amendment claims to have abolished slavery, but the loophole is that a person who is convicted of a felony can be made into a slave. This major loophole has been used to enslave black people for over 150 years and there are concerted efforts to stop it."

  • If they had listened in the first place, the authorities would not have to rely on their snitches and their "rats". 

    Racism has been embedded in the criminal injustice system since at least the 1880s. We must support these sistas and brothas in their protests.
