Junious Ricardo Stanton interviews Jerome Shabazz the founder and executive director of the Overbrokk Environmental Education and Art Center located in 6134-50 Lancaster Avenue in Philadelphia. Shabazz took a blighted urban brownfield a former stone quarry and is transforming it into an inner city oasis using green technology. The Overbrook Environmental Education and Art Center is a testament to the vision, acumen and determination of people of African ascent to transform our environment, provide a venue for much needed services for the community and integrate technology in a way that enhances our lives.
