I is the first person in WE as "How long are we going..."
Until I move the second and the third person and the crowd will be inert.
Leadership begin with the first person.
A question to create and make a difference would be: "HOW LONG AM I GOING TO WATCH OUR
YOUNG PEOPLE......

How long are we going to watch our young people die at the hands of our captors and not realize the import of building an honorable civil society of our own - ELSEWHERE?
Richard, your assessment is 100% on point. The only thing I would add is that far too many fathers are absent in the raising of these children who grow up lost and without a sense of morality and hard work to earn a living. We must be more responsible as we bring children into this world - we have to raise them, not just birth them.
Our problems stem from within an unworkable social contract that has dismantled far too many Black Families, to the point we are creating so many "menaces to society" that even we want to see them punished. When we see our young men stopped by the police, we don't know how wrong that young man is? This breakdown of the household is also fostering poverty and desperation for money and material goods. Crime is being bred in our neighborhoods, by officials inhibiting the ability of parents to discipline children and allowing these kids to choose their own paths before they understand all of the choices. The limited mind wants quick money, quick money spells crime! We need to adopt a new social contract and correct the behavior of our youth and then our complaints will be much more legitimate!
