African American Lady Liberty featured on coin celebrating U.S. Mint's 225th birthday

Liberty? When will we wake up and stop accepting appeasements? Don't we remember being tricked into sitting at lunch counters, so we could eat at white restaurants? Result? No black restaurants. Don't we remember being tricked into assimilation when we wanted integration?
Don't we remember being tricked into giving up educating our own vs. letting our enemies educate them?
Liberty? Are people of color all over this country being shot down on an almost daily basis? Are we killing one another at a record pace? Are we spending $1.1 Trillion dollars into the US economy, yet own nothing and control nothing? Are we aware that President Obama has endured 8 years of unrelenting racism cloaked in political intrigue.
Get real, family. We are the "lost sheep of the House of Israel" in a covenant relationship with the Almighty God. We are catching Hell because we are just as rebellious as our ancestors, whose behavior and stupidity is document in our history book, the Bible. However, the last thing we will do is pick a book and read it. Odd, since not too long ago, we were forbidden to read. The last thing we want to do is take personal responsibility for our own behavior, instead blame 'the man' for everything.
The truth is we are our own worse enemy. Our Post Traumatic Slavery Disorder is manifest in almost everything we say and do. We spend almost every dime we make with our oppressors. Indeed, we fund our own oppression. We boycott black businesses and then whine about "their ain't no jobs" - duh! We are quick to turn on one another, but seem terrified at the white man. WHY?
Take a moment and get a quick education. Take the time to read Deuteronomy 28:15-68 and ask yourself: "Who do I know that has experienced ALL of the "curses" detailed here?"
If you are wise, this will send you off on your personal journey of discovery. Unless and until we come to grips as to our true identity, we will continue to wallow in the mire, like hogs in slop, oblivious of the obvious.
This memo may seem harsh, and it is not meant to offend, but to awaken. Even Garvey said: "Rise up, you mighty people!" Will you or won't you? Shalom family.
