WVON TO MAKE CLARION CALL TO END THE VIOLENCE
[Chicago] WVON 1690AM, Chicago’s Urban Talk station will call for a truce to end the rampant violence plaguing the city. Wallace "Gator" Bradley and Annette Freeman, mother of Dantrell Davis, will join Matt McGill and Perri Small in making the call for truce.
Dantrell Davis was felled by gun violence in Oct. 1992. The 7-year-old was hit by a bullet -- while on his way to school -- meant for a rival gang member in the Cabrini-Green public housing complex. Bradley was instrumental in brokering a gang truce after Dantrell’s death
