We are sharing this important presentation that Carl Dix delivered on February 4th at Revolution Books NYC. The horrendous videos of the beatings by police of Tyre Nichols leading to his death, and the vomitus of “new” reformist, dead-end programs and solutions to police terror and murder of Black and Brown youth provided the sober background for this presentation. Carl went deeply into what it will take to end horrors like the unspeakable outrages of the killing of Tyre Nichols, and why “defunding” the police and “abolishing” prisons are dangerous illusions.
