UN General Assembly to hold Concert on Slavery

I am writing to advise that this year’s concert for the annual international remembrance of the victims of slavery and the transatlantic slave trade will be held in the General Assembly on 15 May 2012. This year, the event will be special given the impending announcement of a winning design for the memorial. Consequently, the event will also be a fundraiser to assist with construction of the memorial to be erected on the grounds of the United Nations.

Kindly advise of any interest in attending to cover the event, by close of business on Friday, 27 April 2012. In doing so, please provide full name, media house, and contact details of the person(2) nominated to attend.

I agree with Diane Shabass completely. This monument business is a joke. If descendants of Slaves want a monument, we would build one ourselves. Let JUSTICE be rendered for the inhumane and heinous crimes done to Slaves and their descendants.

Clearly the UN is playing games with descendants of Slaves. The US and the UN have given so-called White "Jews" our tax dollars and have helped them obtain monies from Germany for their "Holocaust".

Where is the restitution for the deaths and enslavement and captivity of Blacks forcibly migrated from the shores of Africa?

How long are we going to be silent and allow people to think that we are so gullible and naive to believe in their means of "justice" for 100 million Black lives lost in the Slave Trade that made White Nations wealthy.

If the United Nations wants to be fair then let them address our FREEDOM and our HUMAN RIGHTS and give us REPARATIONS to pursue happiness out of the lands that hold us yet captives.
