Trump Is Insane
Junious Ricardo Stanton
Wow, every day Donald Trump makes a more outlandish statement about something; the war in Iran, the economy, his “deals”, his presidency, his tariffs and trade wars, everything; so much so people no longer seem shocked or surprised. Does this mean we are so used to his bombast, bravado and narcissistic exaggerations we’re numb to his whacky utterings?
Or, is it because the powers who shouldn’t be go along with him, support him with little organized push back. All too often it seems they all are in cahoots with his lies, scams and corruption, that they are enabling him and his insanity. For example, early in Trump’s second presidential term he came out with the concept of DOGE aka Department of Government Efficiency. It was touted as a full US department.
The media uncritically ran with it and pitched it as part of his pledge to cut expenses. The problem is it was totally bogus and unconstitutional. Congress never introduced legislation to create such a federal department, held no debates or hearings nor did they vote on any such bill or authorize its actions. At best all DOGE could ever be was a committee operating in an advisory capacity making government recommendations to Trump. But Trump saw it as an executive prerogative.
What Elon Musk did was arbitrarily and summarily fire thousands of federal employees try to shut down departments, agencies and offices the US Congress had already voted funding and appropriations for, which was illegal! The media for the most part accepted Trump and Musk’s word that they were working to eliminate waste, abuse and fraud, the buzz words some PR firm, think tank or White House staffer came up with the justify Trump’s illegal actions. Constitutional issues were rarely if ever raised in the media or the Congress.
Trump and Musk claimed their actions were going to save the government billions, even trillions of dollars! But actual government audits have discovered most of their claims were untrue. https://fordschool.umich.edu/news/2025/reality-doges-mediocre-savings-stevenson. Not only didn’t Musk and DOGE save money they purged government workers (mostly Black women) at alarming rates however subsequently some of them had to be rehired. https://www.peoplesworld.org/article/zero-savings-and-300000-lost-jobs-later-doge-is-officially-dead/, https://www.opb.org/article/2025/10/01/doge-cuts-to-federal-government-staffing-and-spending-are-being-undone/.
Fortunately, some federal judges stood up to Trump and said no or blocked many of his actions and plans. https://news.bgov.com/us-law-week/trumps-policies-have-been-stopped-by-courts-more-than-200-times This is a good thing but Trump is so out of control it seems the courts can’t keep up with his shenanigans.
Hopefully more citizen activists will continue to rally and challenge more of Trump’s heavy-handed actions such as his war against Iran; an unprovoked, undeclared, illegal war he launched at the behest of Benjamin Netanyahu and the Zionist state of Israel, Trump might be put in check!
Trump’s War, as it is now called, is having a devastating effect on the global economy and its morphing into a wider regional conflagration. What started as a dastardly sneak attack by the US and Israel against Iran, immediately spilled over into countries like Qatar, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates which hosted US military bases and facilities,
Meanwhile Iran and its allies counterattacked with devastating ferocity and effectiveness. Iran’s response has been so thoroughly overwhelming they have essentially neutralized the US’s main tools for global hegemony: their naval aircraft carriers, their defensive interceptor missiles and their economic clout! Plus, Iran has effectively reduced Israel to a whimper.
The situation is getting worse; now Saudi Arabia is trying to enlist Pakistan, Turkiye, Somalia, Egypt, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and other regional neighbors to their side. The war has spread to the Black and Caspian Seas. https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-pacific/iran-war-spreads-red-sea-caspian-gulf-quiet-us-forgoes-strikes-2026-07-25/ with seeming overlap with America’s proxy war in Ukraine. What happens when these conflicts intensify and spread even farther?
These wars will negatively impact global energy supply lines, food and other consumer goods in the coming months! This will not turn out well for Trump and his minions. Trump started all of this. His insanity will cause more and more suffering before the end of this year and beyond. The Law of Consequences is going to take its toll on the United States and no amount of gaslighting is going to obfuscate or cover this up.
