January 2013 - National Mentoring Month - Schools, faith organizations, community organizations, fraternities and sororities, cities and states should create and manage mentoring programs during this month for young Black men. We support Susan Taylor and the National Cares Mentoring Movement as a leader in the mentoring movement in America.  The Black Star Project will provide you with an organizing kit with everything you need to create a successful mentoring program anywhere in the country.
February 2013 - Saturday University - Schools, faith organizations, community organizations, fraternities and sororities, cities and states should create and manage a Saturday University Community Learning Center, focusing on reading and math proficiency, especially young Black men. The Black Star Project will provide you with an organizing kit with everything you need to create a successful Saturday University Community Learning Center.
March 2013 - Destination College - Schools, faith organizations, community organizations, fraternities and sororities, cities and states should create and manage a Destination College Program that introduces young Black men to the college experience including college preparation sessions, college fairs and college visits.  The Black Star Project will provide you with an organizing kit with everything you need to create a successful Destination College Program. April 2013 - End the New Jim Crow - Schools, faith organizations, community organizations, fraternities and sororities, cities and states should create and manage a End the New Jim Crow program to help stop the mass incarceration of young Black men in America, based on the book, the New Jim Crow by Michelle Alexander. The Black Star Project will provide you with an organizing kit with everything you need to create a successful End the New Jim Crow program.
May 2013 - One Church, One Job - Schools, faith organizations, community organizations, fraternities and sororities, cities and states should create and manage a One Church/One Job program that hires young Black men during the summer of 2013 for jobs, internships and paid training opportunities.  The Black Star Project will provide you with an organizing kit with everything you need to create a successful One Church/One Job program.  June 2013 - Take A Young Black Man to Worship - Schools, faith organizations, community organizations, fraternities and sororities, cities and states should create and manage a Take A Young Black Man to Worship program during this month for young Black men.  The Black Star Project will provide you with an organizing kit with everything you need to create a successful Take A Young Black Man to Worship program. 
July 2013 - Safe Communities Program -
Schools, faith organizations, community organizations, fraternities and sororities, cities and states should create and manage a Safe Communities Program that will help to ensure that communities are safe during the summer months and that young Black men are constructively engaged through the summer. The Black Star Project will provide you with an organizing kit with everything you need to create a successful Safe Communities Program.
August  and September 2013 - Million Father March
- Schools, faith organizations, community organizations, fraternities and sororities, cities and states should create and manage a Million Father March movement in your community, city or state during these months to successfully get all children, especially Black young men, back in school.  The Black Star Project will provide you with an organizing kit with everything you need to create a successful Million Father March movement . 

October 2013 - Men In Schools Movement - Schools, faith organizations, community organizations, fraternities and sororities, cities and states should create and manage a Men in Schools Movement to bring men into schools as volunteers, mentors, coaches, monitors, teacher aides, chaperones, etc. during this month, especially supporting young Black men in these schools. The Black Star Project will provide you with an organizing kit with everything you need to create a successful Men In Schools Movement.
November 2013 - Black Male Leadership Conferences - Schools, faith organizations, community organizations, fraternities and sororities, cities and states should create and manage a Black Male Leadership Conference during this month for Black men where policies, strategies, programs and actions the improve the plight of Black men in America.  The Black Star Project will provide you with an organizing kit with everything you need to create a successful Black Male Leadership Conference.
December 2013 - Real Men Read - Schools, faith organizations, community organizations, fraternities and sororities, cities and states should create and manage a Real Men Read program that takes men into schools to read to pre-school through 3rd grade students, especially for young Black boys.  The Black Star Project will provide you with an organizing kit with everything you need to create a successful Real Men Read program .
