The African Heritage Asuwa-Academy

A Great Black Books Seminar on

The Mulatto

By Victor Sejour

Sunday, 29 May 2011, 3pm sharp!
Gregory's Cafe,

Park Avenue South & 24th Street

Fee:  $20

Come and join our nonacademic--but intellectual--book discussion circle on the first published (1837) work of fiction by an African American.  (Call me--646-464-4868--to pick up a copy; or you can also google and download a copy.)  As always, the nia of our seminars is to cultivate our mental skills (the real liberal arts) and ground ourselves in our African intellectual masterpieces.  Remember, this is not a lecture.  I merely guide your maieutically, acting as a midwife for your own independent thinking.  You read, think for yourself, and engage in collective deliberation with other bright "scribes."  Come and participate in our afrocentric re-education program.  (As the Godfather might say, please, please, please come on time.  Hetepu!)
