In the attachment above is both my platform and brief bio as a write-in candidate for St. Louis County Executive in the Tuesday, November 4, 2013 General Elections. If you agree with the platform, then do the right thing, by casting a vote per writing in the name Zaki Baruti. Also, we are in need of volunteer poll workers for the election. For those of you who have the time to be a poll worker, please meet us at Legacy Bookstore, 5249 Delmar, Monday, November 3, 2014 between 5-8pm to pick up sample ballots and receive instructions. You not have to live in St. Louis County to help us at the polls.

Remember, this campaign is not about an individual but about the ideas focused on Justice for our people. It was in the spirit of the Justice for Michael Brown Leadership Coalition, that I accepted their challenge/request that my name be submitted as a write-in candidate.

 Accordingly, in the short time our candidacy was officially announced on October 14, the following has occurred: the announcement was carried by many of the local television and radio stations, thousands of pieces of campaign literature has been distributed, hundreds of yard signs also have been distributed, the St. Louis Argus had a front page story on the campaign, we have a full page ad in the Oct 30-Nov 5 edition of the St. Louis American, we have television ads on Channel 24 and an interview with Bernie Hayes on same station, Sunday, November2, at 5:30pm, we have ads on Radio FM stations 95.5, 104.1, 100.3 and the gospel AM station 1600, the Final Call Newspaper and the Riverfront Times are covering the campaign along with Argus Streaming Live and much Social media coverage, finally we have been on the local popular radio talk shows of Demetrious Johnson and Freeman Bosley Jr. and the national talk shows of Al Sharpton, Carl Nelson, Sons of Africa and Uhuru News. As you see, we have been busy.
