REGGIO’s TO SERVE PIZZA AT BUD BILLIKEN DAY PARADE’s VIP BREAKFAST

Chicago, IL – Reggio’s Pizza, Inc. will be serving its specialty pizza Saturday 11:30 a.m. at the 83rd Bud Billiken Day  Parade for the VIP’s at the 41st Street and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive Parade station.   “Reggio’s is happy to be provide pizza to the VIP breakfast of the 83 annual Bud Billiken Day Parade,” said John Clark, president/CEO of Reggio’s Pizza, Inc.   “Reggio’s accepting this type of responsibility is consistent with our social commitment that we have shown to the community over the past 40-years especially with the Chicago Public Schools where we have employed more than 500 high school students since Reggio’s was founded,” said Clark.   “There have been many other instances where we have demonstrated our social commitment to CPS such as providing the computer software for our testing program as well as issuing a check of $10,000 for a culinary scholarship,” he stated.   “We hope that this Bud Billiken Parade, the largest and oldest African American parade in America, inspires all of CPS students to return to school on the first day of school which is consistent with the mission, purpose and the Bud Billiken Parade’s 2012 theme, ‘Education Built to Last,’” Clark said.
