In 1939 the Honorable Leonard Howell founded Jamaica's first self sufficient agro-industrial community in the hills of St. Catherine, at Pinnacle thousands of Rasta's came together in an economic activity never before known outside of forced enslavement in Jamaica, amongst the agricultural goods produced at Pinnacle the most valued was Cannabis.
