As a veteran activist, a former national Constituent Services and Field Director for Rev. Jesse L Jackson, Sr and The Rainbow/PUSH Coalition and Citizenship Education Fund, and as Chairman of National Black Wall Street Chicago, I am pleased to help promote and encouraging attendance at the upcoming Rainbow/PUSH Coalition and Citizenship Education Fund 43rd Annual National Conference. AND, I am also going to serve as a Co-Chair of The "Community Kick Off Day" for the opening days of the convention where we bring all the national dignitaries and opening workshops directly to the community to witness and participate in at The Rainbow/PUSH Headquarters where all the opening activities of the convention will be open and FREE to the community!! I will be appealing to all local community organizations, community leaders and activists to pack the auditorium and take full advantage of our bringing the opening of the convention to kickoff with the people in the community for FREE.
Stay tuned for the posting of all the national leaders and workshops that again will be FREE to the community to attend and participate on the community kick off of the convention in the community!! I am humbled to return to my "Field Director" position and go and engage the community and bring them directly to the convention. And for those who used to say that they were grassroots and could not afford to attend the convention downtown, its now open and FREE to the community!!
