Today, President Barack Obama was sworn in for a second term, fulfilling a constitutional requirement that the presidency ends 11:59 a.m. on January 20th after a four-year term, but the main event will take place tomorrow Monday, the 21st when more than 800,000 people are expected to be in Washington, DC to witness the second swearing-in of the president.  This is a far-cry from the almost 2 million people who converged in Washington, DC, four years ago to witness the first African-American black man take the oath of office as President of the United States of America, the most powerful country in the world.  However, whilst these millions in Washington, DC and many more millions the world over were celebrating this epic moment in American history, many Republicans had gathered in a venue in Washington, DC to plot the downfall of Obama, by frustrating every decision he makes, in your face confrontations, and arriving at a decision that these confrontations and refusal to cooperate would make Obama a one-term president.(Read More)
