Guys I am forwarding you 25 excellent opportunities that I retrieved from my blog, Planning and Preparing for College (Scholarships, Internships, Etc.) located at http://www.ctherd.blogspot.com.  This year I will be taking a different approach in sharing my information from my blog.  You see the goal of the blog is to assist or help parents and students to become productive and successful as they prepare for college and/or attend college.  That has always been my goal.  As I look back at my many talks and discussions with LaS. Jones, God has brought to my remembrances that my goal is not to babysit or watch over those that I share valuable information with, but rather to help them to learn how to become independent and utilize the Internet in their quest to be college ready and complete their tenure while in college.  LaS, God told me the same information that I give to you about allowing them to grow so that one day they too can be independent in that quest for reaching their college goals and aspirations, I must release them as well and trust God and know that if he is taking me through it that I will achieve the goals and purposes that he has given me.

I ask that if you haven't done so to subscribe to the blog, join me on twitter at cth123 or LinkedIn at callieherd@yahoo.com or join my Planning and Preparing for College (Scholarships, Internships, Etc.) Page on Facebook.  I have reached my max limit of 5,000 friends on Facebook and thank each of you who have friended me on Facebook and hope that you continue to share the information.

It is my goal that organizations, churches and places that cater to students, especially 8th through 12th graders that they will create a section or room for college preparation and volunteering opportunities in their organizations or churches.  The organizations and churches will also help to provide and/or organize ACT/SAT Workshops throughout the country.  The workshops will be centered on teaching methods and techniques along with preparing the students for college.  This vision will happen and all I ask that you serious consider taking on this venture.  In the end, a mind is a terrible thing to lose.

Below are 25 entries from my blog that allow the students to get ready.  Please click the link to retrieve the information and as always share it with anyone and everyone you know:  (Destiny does not care if you like or dislike someone, but it opens itself to anyone willing to learn and follow the instructions or guidance needed for them to achieve and become productive and successful in their pursue of happiness and being all they can be.)
