Rep. Danny K. Davis (D-7th) is holding a community meeting 12 noon, Monday, December 30, 2013, at Josephine’s Cooking Restaurant (formerly known as Captain Hardtimes), 436 E. 79thSt., Chicago, IL, to talk about better community outreach of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
A number of elected officials will be present including Rep. Mary Flowers (D-31st) including Paul Vallas who is running for Lt. Governor.
Flowers will give an update on bills that could enhance the Affordable Care Act but are being held in committees. Some of the provisions are vital to the lives of the elderly but are being opposed by some elected officials.
