ONYEANI’S LETTER TO AFRICA
Tomorrow, Monday, October 22, Americans will again tether to their television sets to listen to the third and final debate between President Barack Obama and his Republican challenger Governor Mitt Romney, a debate which is scheduled to be on foreign policy. President Obama has been IN office for almost four years, and his record should be speaking for itself, especially his killing of terrorist leader Osama bin Laden, his decimation of the Al-Qaeda, and his restoration of respect and admiration of the United States of most people around the world. On the issue of the American military and the soldiers who fight for the country, the Obamas, especially the first lady, Michelle Obama, have done so much in making the lives of their families more comfortable than had been the case during the George W. Bush admiration. If it were possible for the first lady to move in with the veterans, she would have done it with the kinds of concerns she and Jill Biden have shown in finding them jobs, providing medical benefits for them, etc. (Read more)
