Khali Gallman, creator of the "Not Just Spring Break" app

The Not Just Spring Break (NJSB) mobile app is designed exclusively for urban young professionals as a tool that showcases vacation events and networking opportunities. The app is formatted for Apple iTunes and Google Play Android smartphones, purchased for 99 cents. All rights are reserved.

"As an avid traveler, I have always enjoyed attending urban professional events, but often times I find out about them too late," app creator Khali Gallman commented. "I created the app as a ‘one stop shop’ for young professionals who want to learn about events at their fingertips. This platform will cultivate new and existing relationships as well as encourage travel and exploration."

It is the only app of its kind to cater specifically to urban young professionals. How does it work? Events are listed by date, location, and price. For example, users who want to attend an event in January can view all events listed that month. Concurrently if a user wants to attend an event in Washington, D.C., all events in that location are listed. Lastly, if a user’s budget is $250 or less, he or she can find events in that price range. Current events include: HBCU homecomings and classics, MLK Ski Weekend, Winter Ski Fest, PIPS Party in Palm Springs, Memorial Day Getaway, CIAA Weekend, and many more.

The App can be downloaded on:
