Just to thank you for your contribution to a memorable weekend....the "kids" were awesome and the Elders were perfect for their needs, as they embark on a large endeavor to attempt to fill a vast void, at this time in Black history. The void is the deficit in sound Nation Building in the Black Nation in this century.
Of course the NOI and RNA are maintaining steady, forward mobility, but their M.O. is established in 20th century methodology. The LIB Group at Khalifah's Estate this past weekend are not pattenened after either ot the two: they are exploring the possibilities of Nation Building using modern, advanced technological tools. Indeed, most of the Group were meeting each other in person for the first time in their lives. They were first "Friends" on the internet.
. Fortunately for us Black Elders, the LIB Group is polite, respectful and seekers of some things about us that they can use. And the most fortunate of all is the fact that The Coalition of Black Nationalist Elders (NCOBNE), present this weekend, to the person, were willing givers of what we have that they seek of us. www.livinginblack.com
