WHAT: Voter Registrars on site all day at Rainbow PUSH in celebration of the largest single-day effort of the year to register voters and involve them in the political process. Through National Voter Registration Day, now in its third year, more than 350,000 voters nationally have registered through the efforts of more than 2,100 partners. In Illinois this year, over 50 organizations will partner to register thousands of new voters on National Voter Registration Day before the November 4 general election. The Illinois Voter Restoration Project (the voter education arm of National Black Wall Street Chicago) led by veteran voter registration and voter education activist Mark Allen is pleased to help promote todays activities and encourage eligible citizens to register to vote at The Rainbow/PUSH Coalition site until 7:00 PM TODAY!!
