ROUNDTABLES

As heirs of a great civilization and custodians of our children, it's time for us to HARAMBEE! - to pull together and sustain success for the greater good of our children, our families, our communities, and our nation as a whole.

One Voice-One Focus: Turning Solutions into ACTion

This is a Clarion Call to mobilize resources and galvanize efforts of local, state, and national leaders of educational organizations; faith-based institutions; businesses; parents; and community/civic groups to reason together and change the trajectory of our African American youth. This gathering of action-oriented roundtables of like-minded individuals is the next step - beyond the protests - to identify the challenges African American males face in society, and then strategically put into ACTion proven solutions and systemsthat "bolster and reinforce our African American males", fortify their character, esteem their self-worth, and lead them "down pathways and avenues of success" in education, social wellness, and economic empowerment.

Youth/Young Adults: This Generation Having Their Say

Progressive-minded youth and young adults who seek to rebuild the image and change the lifestyle perception of their generation, and those to come, will identify areas they feel need improvement and what is needed to get the results they desire. As today's brain trust, they will discuss issues important to them with solutions from their own generation as they relate education, health & social wellness, and financial literacy.

Educator Workshop: While many educators feel comfortable teaching students about various world religions, the same is not necessarily true when it comes to the Bible and Christianity. This three-hour workshop for public school educators is not about "education theory." You'll lean practical ways to appropriately and lawfully include teaching about the Bible and Christian history, culture, and values across the curriculum. You'll also receive the latest updates on federal and state religious liberty issues affecting students and teachers.

Parent Workshop:Your children's faith is being challenged in today's secular education system like never before. Are you equipped to help them? In this three-hour workshop you will learn practical ways to guard your children's hearts and minds while they attend public schools, and how to help your children graduate with their faith and values intact.
