National Black Chamber of Commerce Announces Lineup of 30 National Speakers and Salute to Veterans at Its 24th Annual Entrepreneur Conference

Thirty prolific speakers are slated to bring their savvy and innovative business practices to the National Black Chamber of Commerce 24th Annual Entrepreneurial Convention, in New Orleans, LouisianaJuly 20-23, at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside hotel. The prominent business advocacy organization and non-profit entity seeks to enhance its national outreach by continuing its positive effects, on representing black and minority professionals, in the areas of critical business issues and policy and legislative impacts.

To kick off the national conference, the organization will show its support for veterans by hosting the Veterans Job Fair onWednesday, July 20 at the Port of New Orleans. The event is free for veterans and employers seeking to employ veterans. The four-day conference features notable key note speakers Deborah Elam, Chief Diversity Officer of GE; Gary LaGrange, President/CEO of the Port Authority of New OrleansBarbara Wojcik-Betancourt, Senior Economist of the U.S. Department of Agriculture; Terrez Thompson, VP of Global Supplier Diversity of The Coca Cola Company; Dr. Kiki Baker Barnes, Athletic Director for Dillard University and Dave Sanford, Deputy Executive Director, Port Authority of Manatee, Florida.

Expected to attend the conference are more than 300 engaged business and chamber professionals, national entertainers and governmental representatives to participate in the professional development workshops.
